Hello, i need to recover passwords from accounts directly from the mysql db becoz i lost originals, is it possible? i'm the sys admin and have full access to the db, passwords are encrypted, is it possible to login creating an account without any pw set?

did your database crash on you and you had to reinstall ebb?

ultimately, since the passwords are encrypted and uses a salt on top of that, you would have to ask all of your users before logging in to use the forgot password tool.

Now I do have a master password reset tool, which will mass email every user a new password created for them(it acts exactly like the upgrade tool used for merging from version 1). If you want that tool, go on the main website and fill out the contact form and I'll email you the tool.
