version 3-dev1 is almost ready for testing!

better yet, I may have things done before the date listed in the roadmap thread.

to rehash, version 3-dev1 will not contain much in new features, but does revamp the entire system, being a rewrite in many locations.

version 3 RC 1 will contain much more in new features, including fully integrating a new AJAX framework into the new release. prototype will be replaced with a new framework that offers more to the development and also will serve more use with less 3rd party scripts.

more will be posted later, but version 3 testing will be public and reporting issues and making suggestions will be done differently than before.
