here is an early Christmas gift

I managed to get the new look of the site up today, you will see that it looks like the developer portal, which is intended.

a few things to note, anything you need to download will be available at sourceforge.net, which offers a better way to handle downloads

also I added a bug form to the support page, this will be the preferred way of informing me about bugs and security-related issues. Your free to still post them on the community board, but I know some may not wish to register to just post a bug.
